A little something about D'Mor...
Being born and raised in the Bronx of New York City, fashion was instilled in me from birth. It’s a part of my DNA, a part of my culture.

As a teen, my school and sister taught me how to sew, but after a while, I knew sewing garments wasn’t for me. Countless hours of looking for the right fabric, cutting material on the bias, using the correct thread… Blah! This wasn’t for me, although years later, I assisted my sister with her sewing business, learning quickly that my interest was truly with design more so than with sewing.
Eventually, I stopped sewing altogether, but my desire to create remained strong and it led me to start dabbling in jewelry creation. I didn't attend any craft classes or go to design school, I just sat down and started drawing designs I thought would look good and started creating them.
Years later, I created the line of fashion accessories you see today called D'Mor Couture. Besides making jewelry, I'm now back to looking for the right fabric and sewing, making fashion accessories I hope you will love just as much as others and myself do...Funny how the skills you acquire when you are young really do come in handy later in life.

Being responsible in these areas does not mean we push our values onto others or state we have a solution to today’s concerns, but wherever possible, we practice a holistic approach to fabricating each piece honestly and with the least possible impact to the Earth or humanity by using sustainable items whenever possible.
We invest time and care from the beginning of designing timeless pieces to our material choices, our artisan techniques and our handmade small batch process minimizes waste and attempts to avoid harmful chemicals while providing high quality items.
